Orem Youth Soccer Recreation
"Where We Play For Fun"

Paid registrations include eight spring games in 2012, a uniform and ball.
- Each player must be at least 4 years old on or before July 31, 2011 (If your child turned 4 after July 31, 2011 the player is too young for this season. Each player must be under 19 years of age on July 31, 2011.
- Payment must be received within two weeks of registration (or by February 29, 2012,) or player registration will be rejected.
- Players will be placed on teams with available spaces not always neighborhood teams.
- OYS Age divisions are U6, U8, U10, U12 and Coed. U = "under the age of" as of July 31, 2011. Age divisions are made in two year increments and are gender specific from age 4-11. Boys play with other boys and girls play on teams with girls. 4/5 year olds play together in U6. 6/7 year olds play together in U8 and so on. The Coed division is for our teenage players age 12-18. It will be split into 2 divisions - U15 and U18. U15 is for 12, 13, 14 year olds and U18 is for 15, 16, 17 year olds. ALL participants (ages 4-17) will be placed into divisions based on their age as of July 31. To request a Play-Up for your player, email Amy at amyy@oremyouthsoccer.com before registering.
- Email will be a primary form of communication. Parents, please bookmark this page and remember your login and password, which you will add during registration. Return often to check your soccer email for updates on teams and schedule information. You can see the user login box at the upper left hand side of this page.
- Plan for approximately one to two games and one practice per week. Games are either Tues, Wed or Thurs nights and on Saturdays, played at Lakeside Sports Complex (across from Vineyard Elementary). Practice times and locations are determined by each coach and practices will be held at a field other than the Lakeside Sports Complex. Games will begin on or about March 10, 2012 pending weather. Season will be completed by the first week in May
- Uniform includes jersey, shorts and socks. Players are responsible for shinguards and closed toe shoes, which are mandatory for games and practices. If cleats are desired they must be soccer cleats (without the front toe cleat).
- Coaches and Team Managers are volunteer parents of players on each team. You will be asked to help fill these positions. Teams are approx. the same for both fall and spring.
- For those interested in a more competitive level of play, tryouts will be held in May. Dates and times will be posted on the website.
- Orem Youth Soccer is a 100% volunteer organization.
